The Media Department at First Baptist Church is responsible for helping to communicate the Good News of Jesus Christ and information about First Baptist Church through the use of mass media, and also facilitates communication within and among the membership of the church. The Media Ministry designs and maintains the church presence on the World Wide Web. DVD creation and duplication of programs at First Baptist Church are available by ordering through the church office and on our Website. In addition to the Internet site, First Baptist Church uses other media to reach the public, including newspaper advertisements and brochures. The Media Department publishes the church newsletter which is mailed monthly to church member homes. We also provide desktop publishing services, such as the Sunday worship folder, promotional brochures, and educational materials. Media Department volunteers are an essential part of each service at First Baptist Church. They assist in the in-house sound, lighting, overhead screen, and television/video production.
